The British United Services Club of Los Angeles was founded in 1935. The Club observes British Officers Club protocol and members and guests are required to wear Mess Dress Uniform or Black Tie Dinner Jacket, with appropriate miniatures, to all dinner meetings. Lady members may wear cocktail gowns with miniatures, as appropriate. The members meet once every month except for the month of August. All meetings are dinner meetings with a speaker appropriate for the evening. The meetings are held at the Altadena Town and Country Club in Altadena, California, just north of Pasadena, California. Typically we see between 40 to 60 members in attendance. After dinner many members repair to the ante-room for stories and refreshment before hitting the road.
