Overview
Community Action Agency offers the Family Outreach Program to families referred by the Department of Human Services (formerly FIA) in Hillsdale County.
Teen Mentoring:
The program provides appropriate teens and young adults that have received specialized training to mentor troubled pre-adolescent and adolescent youth. The mentors provide role modeling by demonstrating good decision making, positive communication skills and limit setting.
Parent Sponsoring
The Parent Sponsoring Program recruits and trains appropriate adults to sponsor parent(s) having difficulties providing for the needs of their child(ren). The adults provide positive role modeling by demonstrating positive parenting, communication and decision making skills.
