Pierre Bordenave was born in Paris in 1900. He was educted at the Bernard Palissy School of Design, Painting and Decoration in Paris. After starting his own business in design and illustration he returned full time to painting. He was an influencial Paris artist and a member and participant in multiple Salon's including the Societe Nationale des Beaux Arts. In 1958 he won the Grand Prix du Counseil General de Seine-et-Marne. He exhibited in numerous group and solo exhibition all over Europe. He is a listed artist and his art is in private and public collections all over the world.

Salon des Artistes francais in the year 1944.

Member de la Société des peintres de montagne in the year 1945.

Invited to the Salon du Dessin in the year 1948.

Exhibited at the Salon des trois “ S “ for which he was awarded the Grand Prix du Conseil Général de Seine-et-Marne in the year 1958.

Participated at the Salon d’Automne from 1957.
