Garfield Edward Faber (Edward G. Faber) was born 1906 in Middlesex, Massachusetts. Later his family moved to Somerville Ma. While attending Somerville High School he began his interest in art. Later he became a commercial artist and moved to Somerville, Massachusetts. He painted in the style of early Schooner portraits with great detail of ships from days gone bye. Most of his work is signed G. Faber. He died in the year 1968 in Bedford Massachusetts.
