Maryse Ducaire was a pupil of Emmanuel Fougerat and a graduate of the National College of Decorative Arts in Paris.
She exhibited her work at numerous exhibitions in Paris, including the Salon des Artistes Indépendants (of which she was a member), the Salon des Artistes Français (where she was a gold medal winner), the Salon d'Automne and the Salon Comparaisons.
She also exhibited solo in Paris, Aurillac, Lyons, Grenoble and New York.
Ducaire was made a Chevalier of the Légion d'Honneur, one of France's highest honors for artists.
