Paul Gallagher began collecting Meissen Porcelain when he was 10 years old. He always had a fascination with anything old, and with the wonderment of who could have owned all these special pieces. Later his interest in singing lead him to classical music especially Opera. Some of his important voice teachers included International Opera stars Todd Duncan, Blanche Thebom, voice teacher Elisabeth Parham (The San Francisco Conservatory of Music) , Sanford Sylvan (The Juilliard School) and opera coaches Bertha Melnik (The Juilliard School), Earl Buys (The San Francisco Conservatory of Music), and George Buckbee (The University of the Pacific Conservatory of Music). Never losing his love for art and antiques his interests in in antiques broadened considerably. Paul moved to New York City and began a professional acting career.New York City credits include starring as "Santa" in Radio City Christmas Spectacular with the world famous Radio City Rockettes, Couda, Woulda, Shouda starring Patti Lu Pone (Carnegie Hall), off Broadway production of On A Clear Day at The Clurman Theatre on Theatre Row, New Musical Workshops of Hurry Hurry Hollywood written by Sam Harris, starring Michael C. Hall , Jodi Benson and David Schramm and Silk Stockings starring Melba Moore.
Paul toured both Canada and The USA with Livent production of Joseph and The Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat starring Donny Osmond (Baker/Issachar), as well as the Broadway tour of Joseph-Dreamcoat produced by The Really Usful Group starring Sam Harris (Baker/Issachar).
Other tours include National Tour of My Fair Lady (Jamie), Phantom, The Most Happy Fella (Pasquale), and Where's Charley. European tours include My Fair Lady (Zoltan Karpathy) starring Tony Anholt then replaced with Maximillion Schell directed by Frank Dunlop, Jesus Christ Superstar (King Herod) starring Brad Little and directed by Hugh Wooldridge and Jesus Christ Superstar directed by Larry Fuller.

How It Was Done In Odessa at the Walnut Street Theatre in Philadelphia starring Paul Anthony Stewart and Lorraine Serabian . Regional credits include: Phantom starring Kristin Chenoweth as Christine , Brigadoon at the Goodspeed Opera House starring Daniel Reichard, Cinderella starring Annie Golden as the Fairy Godmother, Fiddler on the Roof (Innkeeper), Annie (Bert Healy), The Most Happy Fella (Pasquale), A Christmas Carol (Fezziwig), Sweeney Todd (The Beadle), Oklahoma, The Music Man (Ewart Dunlop), Carnival, The Merry Widow (Novikovich), Gentleman Prefer Blonds (Robert Lemonteur), Me and My Girl, and the King and I.
Paul has also been a guest soloist with many U.S. opera houses and major symphonies including performing the role of The Bonze in Madame Butterfly starring International Opera Diva Martina Arroyo who received the Kennedy Center Honors in Opera. Others: The Bear Valley Opera with International Opera stars Greogory Kunde and Hilda Harris. Marin Opera with Claudia Cummings and Michael Devlin. Also with Berkeley Opera, Sacramento Opera, Stockton Opera, Dicapo Opera New York City, and San Francisco State Opera. His classical performances and numerous tours throughout the United States and most of Europe enabled him to build his collection from sources around the world.
Paul was a founding member of The Arts Council of Keansburg. A founding member and on the Board of Trustees of The Freehold Borough Arts Council
a recipient of the "Volunteer of the Year 2008" award from The Red CrossTiffany Circle.
