This important Amphora Vase, designed and signed by Hans Riessner. on the vase near the figure. It the monumental Grès-Bijou form with a sculpted and applied "Daughter of the Rhine" figure. Encrusted with faux jewels and gilt in gold. Similar vases are pictured in House of Amphora, by R. Scott, plates 316-318. On the bottom it is marked with impressed elaborate crown, AMPHORA (in Art Nouveau type), AUSTRIA and # 8157 on base.
