Rare 18th C. French Provincial Fruitwood Bombe Commode

A wonderful 18th Century French Provincial Fruitwood Commode, the top inlaid with a stylized star compass with a sword in the center, over a bombe shaped 5-drawer base with serpentine front. Seahorse Venetian hardware, with carved apron and short scrolled feet.
