Rare 18th Century Meissen Low Bowl with Fowl, Flowers and Insects

Description

This rare late 18th Century Meissen Low Bowl is hand painted with charming farm fowl, flowers and insects. It is molded with the New Ozier Pattern in relief trimmed in gold. This relief pattern originally was created between 1741 and 1745. The glaze is very shinny and has "mooning" typical of 18th century Meissen porcelain. It measures 11.5 inches long by 8.75 inches across and 1.75 inches deep.
