Tis is a rare Meissen Sugar or Zuckervase. Hand painted with Strewn Flowers and Gold. In 1831 Meissen began to copy cut glass patterns. This so-called "T-series" was a deviation from the usually pretty sound stylistic sense of the manufactory. On the bottom it has an early under glaze blue crossed sword mark with above glaze green Roman Numeral I mark for the luster gilding.
