A wonderful Hall, Hewson & Brower Sterling Spoon with gilt Vermeil for serving sugar or for berries, with scalloped, seashell- shaped Vermeil (gilt) bowl, handle that is twisted into a spiral on the distal 1/2 that then flattens out on the end of the handle. Engraved decorations are on the front and back. The reverse of the handle is stamped “B.L. Hood”and has the triangular hallmark for the Hall, Hewson & Brower Co.
