Early 19th Century German Sterling Silver Cup and Saucer

Early 19th Century German Sterling Silver Cup and Saucer. Both pieces clearly hand made. The freeform shape is graceful, and simple in form. The handle of the cup is a delightful Dragon with a scrolled edges and has a gold vermeil wash on the inside. Both pieces have rolled outer edges. The Saucer has a later dedication of "Zum 1 December 1856." The mark is stamped on both pieces. " W.P. " and "D" with a Berlin Bear with Letter L. On the base of the cup is a clear assayer's mark typical of earlier German pieces.
