A rare 16th Century Italian Tabernacle frame. Minutely covered with gilded leaf work on black lacquer decoration. Flanked by two columns of Carrera marble with Corinthian capitals in lacquer and gold: bases and center bottom set with inserts of Carrera marble. From the collection of William Randolph Hearst.
