Castrol Hydraulic System Mineral Oil is formulated for use in JAGUAR vehicles with mineral-based braking and suspension systems. The bottle has a built-in dispenser nozzle that fits the vehicle's green-colored reservoir cap or receiver.  The fluid is green in color. Castrol HSMO is suitable for the following applications:

    

• This version of Hydraulic Mineral Oil is specified for Jaguar vehicles. There is another similar product by Castrol called "Hydraulic System Mineral Oil Plus" which is specially formulated for Rolls Royce and Bentley vehicles.  According to BP technical support, these two versions of mineral oil differ in chemical properties such as viscosity and thermal breakdown characteristics. Therefore, the non-Plus version that we offer should NOT be used for Rolls Royce and Bentley vehicles. 
• Hydraulic System Mineral Oil is not compatible with the rubber components of brake systems designed for use with DOT brake fluids.
• Keep Hydraulic System Mineral Oil clean. Contamination with dust or other materials may result in brake failure or costly repair.
• Store Hydraulic System Mineral Oil only in it's original container, keep container clean and tightly closed. Do not refill container or use for other liquids.
