Accu Web Controllers

AccuWeb, Inc. web guide systems are found on process and production lines throughout the world. Whether you're specifying new equipment or seeking to improve an existing line, you can achieve the perfect edge with the advanced guide technology and proven performance only AccuWeb can offer.

AccuWeb Tension Control

MICRO 1000 WEB GUIDE CONTROLLER  The Micro 1000ョ web guide controller delivers the highest level of web guide accuracy in the industry.

MICRO 4000Net WEB GUIDE CONTROLLER  The Micro 4000NET controller is the heart of the industry’s most advanced web guide system. It is designed to handle any application, perform in any environment, and guide all web materials.

PointSource COMPENSATED EDGE DETECTORS

Even in the harshest environments, no other edge detector gives you more accuracy and reliability.

WideArray™ EDGE DETECTORS feature large detection ranges to accommodate variations in web width. Web widths can be changed on the fly, eliminating the need to physically reposition edge detectors. Rugged and compact in size, a WideArray is easily mounted and requires only a single cable.

ACCUBEAM 3 - Digital Color Line Guide Sensor  The AccuBeam® 3 combines a linear array sensor with multiple LED illumination colors to detect all the colors in the visible light spectrum.

MICRO 4000Net (Hazardous Environment) The AccuWeb hazardous environment system gives you complete control over web position, despite the presence of flammable or combustible gases and vapors. The system includes an intrinsically-safe edge detector and an explosion-proof or air-purged actuator.

ELECTRO-MECHANICAL LINEAR ACTUATORS Only AccuWeb covers the entire range of web guide applications with electro-mechanical linear actuators. Choose from brushed or brushless and AC Servo models, available for applications exceeding 100,000 lbs.

STEERING ROLL ASSEMBLIES AccuGuide Steering Roll assemblies are manufactured in two construction methods. Structural steel tube (SR-FS Series) is used for wide web or high tension applications and anodized aluminum plate (SR-AP Series) is used for mid to narrow webs. Both designs incorporate a proprietary linear bearing system mounted to an integral frame that provides for simple tram and level mounting. This eases installation and eliminates alignment problems. This unique linear bearing system allows the guide assembly to be installed in vertical, horizontal, or inverted positions for optimum application flexibility.

SHIFTING BASE GUIDE ASSEMBLIES  AccuGuide Unwind/Winder-Rewind Shifting Base assemblies are manufactured in two construction methods. Structural steel tube (SB-FS Series) is used for wide web or high tension applications and anodized Aluminum plate (SB-AP Series) is used for mid to narrow webs. The low coefficient of friction linear bearing systems provide superior long term reliability and accuracy. Shifting base assemblies are custom engineered to suit each application. Uprights and mounting surfaces are designed to accommodate tension/safety chuck systems. These assemblies come ready to install with pre-designed mounting feet that are level and tram.

WEB WIDTH MONITOR SYSTEM Web width or web edge position can be critical in converting applications. AccuWeb Web Width Monitor excels at making these measurements for both acquisition and process control. The system uses patented WideArrayTM edge detectors and a Micro 4000NET controller equipped with Web Width Monitor software to make accurate web width and position measurements.

POSITIVE DISPLACEMENT GUIDES AccuGuide PDG-FS The PDG-FS Series incorporates proprietary linear bearings and a carriage design that allows optimum web guide performance whether installed in a vertical, horizontal or inverted position.

POSITIVE DISPLACEMENT GUIDES AccuGuide PDG-AP The AP Series are cost-effective systems that deliver premium performance in even the most demanding operations. One or more pairs of proprietary linear bearings support the moving frame and idler roller assembly, securely linking it to its stationary base. This unique linear bearing system allows the guide assembly to be installed in vertical, horizontal or inverted positions for optimum application flexibility.

POSITIVE DISPLACEMENT GUIDES AccuGuide PDG-PS The PS Series are compact, formed steel guides are cost effective systems that deliver reliable performance. Three or more proprietary linear bearings support and secure the moving frame and idler roller assembly to its stationary base. This unique linear bearing system allows the guide assembly to be installed in a vertical, horizontal or inverted position for optimum application performance.
