Q: I would like to know if you could use a flash file as a header with animation. My site is going to sell kites on-line and I want it to have kid appeal.

A: You can easily incorporate HTML or Flash into the header of EZ-NetTools. In Global Information, you will want to choose Text as your header option and then paste your code into that box. Be sure to make all the links complete URL's, for example use "http://www.yourdomainname.com/products.html" instead of "products.html" so that they will work on the system generated pages (catalog, bulletin board, etc.) That goes for images as well. For Flash, you will usually have a separate file that's running your animation, so you would paste the code that references that file in the header. We have used this option many times to put an image map in the header-this allows us to have truly global navigation at the top of each page. See some examples at http://www.rexcc.com, http://www.idahoblueheron.com/, and http://www.ldsbook.com/.

Tech Notes: HTML code cannot include spaces between tags. This does require some HTML Knowledge - please do not try unless you are confident in your skills. Technical support will not trouble shoot errors in code.
