Successful Year For E-Commerce

2004 was a Banner Year Online Orders

The number of online orders processed by EZ-NetTools E-commerce web sites was up more than 25 percent per account in 2004.  The increase appears to be consistent with the increase in sales over the internet in general.  A leading credit card processor reported a 35 percent increase in online orders on the Monday following Thanksgiving.   It was a great year to be selling on the Web.

Tracking of the amount and number of orders are some of the statistics we monitor at EZ-NetTools headquarters.  During 2004 several new watermarks were set by our e-commerce customers.

  • The year 2004 was the first year that we had an e-commerce account exceeded $100,000 in orders during a one month period of time.  It did not take long before several accounts were regularly seeing that monthly volume.
  • The year 2004 was the first year that an e-commence account received more than 1200 orders in one month.

We have seen growth each years for as long as we have been keeping these statistics on our e-commence accounts.  But 2004 was a banner year.  We saw significant growth during every month last year.  All indications are that 2005 will be even better.  It is a great time to be an online retailer.
