The AMCAP Networker is an official publication of the Association of Mormon Counselors and Psychotherapists. It is an online newsletter where members can learn more about recent developments in AMCAP, gather information about upcoming conventions, read about past conventions, and enjoy short articles related to clinical practice. The Networker is published twice/year, typically in February and July. New changes in the Networker include a member spotlight section and a student reflection section. In the member spotlight section various AMCAP members will be introduced and highlighted. The student section is a place where students can showcase their talents and feel more connected with AMCAP. Students are encouraged to submit short reflection pieces, theoretical articles, and book reviews. Students can also submit questions to be answered by AMCAP board members. The next issue will include a new special section for a handout exchange. This will be a section where any AMCAP member can submit handouts they use with clients for others to enjoy and use in their clinical practice. We want to hear from you! AMCAP members are invited to submit clinical ideas for inclusion in future issues of the Networker. We would also love to hear from Area Coordinators about what kinds of activities are going on where you live.
See the Networker Archive on this page for additional ideas from past AMCAP publications. Please send all questions and submissions to: Kristin Douglas, Networker Editor, kdouglas@lccc.wy.edu.
