The Kohler "Command Series" offers consumer models available from 11 to 25HP. These engines feature Kohler's exclusive hydraulic valve lifters which allow the engine to run quietly and keep maintenance to a minimum. Command consumer engines also feature electronic ignition for smoother, easier starts; full pressure lubrication; mechanical fuel pump; and dual-element air filter.

GO-KART: Kohler's Command 6 XKE engine offers go-karting enthusiasts a user friendly, high-performance engine that is race ready right out of its box. The affordable C6 XKE engine features a low-maintenance, overhead valve design. Expensive blueprinting and in-season freshening are not necessary, and the 6 HP engine easily rivals side-valve models claiming 7 or 8 HP. The 4-stroke, air-cooled engine incorporates several advanced features, including induction-hardened crankshaft & camshaft lobes; stainless steel exhaust valves; Mahle piston & Sealed Power piston rings; hi-flow air cleaner; fuel pump & filter; engine-mounted recoil starter; fixed-jet, choke equipped carburetor and advanced ignition timing. A closed crankcase breather eliminates the need for a messy and expensive catch tank to collect breather blow-by oil, and this engine performs best on pump gasoline.

Kohler also offers its "Command Pro" Series: designed for heavy-duty power demands, Kohler Command Pro™ engines range from 4 to 26 HP. In addition to the standard Command features, commercial PRO models include upgrades for the professional - including larger capacity air, oil & fuel filters; hi-performance spark plugs; and self-relieving choke carburetors.
