On the FAQ page it states Golden Apples are worthless. This is true. There are Golden Apples and Gold Apples. Gold Apples is what we use now and Golden Apples is what was used in an earlier version of DC. Remember GOLD Apples are usable and GOLDEN Apples are useless and you will never find any. Although with hackers you can never know...

FYI...
Mandrake Roots refresh quest points. The key word is REFRESH. You must use your quests 1st in order for mandrake roots to refresh them.
Cure sickness with seltzar water or a garnet. You must have enough mage power to use a garnet (see the FAQ link for gems abilities).

Some answers to questions I have received so far:
1. To remove a cursed item bless it with a bless scroll.
2. The Vortex is in the Goblin Mounds and only has one guard that mezmerizes real well,has armor +12a, and if you kill him you will receive a URL (URL not too exciting).
3. Time Crystals were made for the Vortex and meant to take you to new regions but that phase of DC was never completed. So Time Crystals are just good for the marks they are worth.
4. At the Guild in the forest you will have the option to add Fighter, Mage, and Trader skills. You can add one per character level. Some benefits you will gain are for 1 Fighters skill you will receive 1 attack point, for 2 Mage skills you will earn 1 use of a gem, for 1 Trader skill you will receive 1 defence point. As you grow you will learn the other benefits.
5. Matchlock Rifles (two handed weapon),Shuricans (left handed weapon) and Koutetsus (armor) are found at the Docks in the Castle when you travel using the Rutter for Shangrala.

Hint:
*How to Advance many levels in one day*
Healers Tower is good for going up levels fast if you have cash (marks). Give money (TITHE)at the Healers Tower and watch your experience grow! When your experience stops increasing you have either ran out of enough money to make a change or you have gone up a level. Check the blue experience bar of your character. If it is full you have gone up a level and when you leave the Tower you will gain a level! If the blue experience bar is not full but your experience is no longer increasing, then you need more marks. Elysium Elder and Treasurer, dabomber, can help you with marks if you are a member and in need of more.

Hint:
*How to create a character*
Make your character a Noble with guts=7, wits=6, charm=4, Marks=$100 (marks=fake game money). By being a Noble you will be able to enter the Castle when you reach level 6. Otherwise you would need to buy a Castle permit for $5000 marks or bribe/kill the Castle guard (very hard/impossible as a new player). You may not be as strong at 1st, but by having entrance to the Castle you will be able to enter the Post Office and join clans.
Ris Hawthorn will be able to DC Mail you items once you join clan Elysium!

There have been rumors about how we, clan Elysium, are against certain clans. Those are just rumors. In Elysium we strive for unity and honor. We welcome other clans to join our force to help Elysium gain in rank and power. Although Elysium may have members that were not treated well by other clans and those members may not like certain clans. Members have that right but in Elysium we ask you to leave those ill feelings behind and welcome a new era of growth. Let our leader know if you are not receiving the service you desire in Elysium and he will work on rectifying your troubles and changing them into joys of Elysium.

If you are or have a clan wishing to join and merge into clan Elysium your members will all receive the welcome gifts as new members (see list on main page). Also up to 5 members of the merging clan (must be the level of Regent) will receive 20 thousand (20k) mandrake roots each.
