When does the User Conference begin and end?
The User Conference begins Monday, October 5, 2009 and concludes on Thursday, October 8, 2009.
Where will the User Conference be held?
The User Conference is being held at the Grand River Center, 500 Bell Street, Dubuque, Iowa.
What is the format of the Conference?
On October 5-6, pre-conference training will be held at the NICC Dubuque Town Clock Center. The User Conference officially begins October 7 and runs through October 8. Please view our Training Session tab for more information.

Where do I register? Where do I pick up my registration packet?
Attendees of pre-conference training can register at the NICC Dubuque Town Clock Center throughout the training sessions on Monday, October 5th and Tuesday, October 6th from 6:30 am to 5:00 pm. Registration will also be open during the Welcome Social at the Grand River Center from 6:30-8:30 pm on Tuesday, October 6th. The registration table will remain open from 7 am – 5 pm on Wednesday, October 7th and 7 am – 4 pm on Thursday, October 8th to answer any questions that may arise throughout the User Conference.
How do I make my hotel arrangements? What is the host hotel for the User Conference?
The official hotel of the User Conference is the Grand Harbor Resort in the Port of Dubuque. Please visit the Travel Info tab for more information on reservations and the User Conference group code.
What meals are included with the User Conference registration?
Breakfast and lunch will be provided on Wednesday, October 7th and Thursday, October 8th. Appetizers will be provided at the socials on Tuesday and Wednesday evenings.
What is appropriate User Conference attire?
The attire for the User Conference is business casual.
What is the cancellation policy for the 2009 User Conference?
September 25, 2009 and after – No refund
On or before September 24, 2009- 25% refund
On or before September 11, 2009 – 50% refund
On or before September 4, 2009 – 75% refund
Can attendees bring spouses or guests along with them to the User Conference?
Attendees can bring their spouses or other guests to the User Conference; however attendees will be billed for meals and socials that guests take part in as they are not a User Conference registrant. Do User Group attendees get free admission to the User Conference?
Each client organization that attended a User Group in the last year will receive one free User Conference registration with a paid registration from their organization.
