2002 Visitors to
Sublette Ranch

Since moving to Sublette Ranch full-time in April of 2002,
we have enjoyed the visits of lots of friends and family!
|
|
A few friends came by for quick visits. Unfortunately, they scooted in and left too fast for us to snap their picture! Like Tim Walters, Norm Edson (neighbor from Littleton) and Steve Gilstrap and his family.
If you don't see yourself here - you'll have to come visit!

Julie & Doug Barger came over a few times shopping for a home. And in December they had bought one and moved in!
|
|
|
Sharon & Don Dodds have come down from Cedaredge several times.
You'll see them on some of the Jeep trip pages.
|
|
|
|
Pat & Bob Willemsen were the first "motor home" visitors and first to bring a pet.
Their cat stayed in the motor home!
Steve took them jeeping to Animas Forks.
|
|
|
|
Tom Mackey came for a weekend in early August. Although it rained most of the time, we did get in trips to ZBar Chuck Wagon, to Ouray, over Owl Creek Pass and
to Telluride by way of Last Dollar Road.
|

|
|

|
Barb's son, Sean, came for a weekend.

Steve's Uncle Charles & Aunt Jean surprised us
with a quick trip on their way through from Phoenix.

Barb's sister, Louise, came over for Labor Day weekend. She brought her friend, Jody.

She can't wait to come over again in October for the Applefest. We hope to can applesauce from fresh apples we pick up then!

Marty Alexandroff used to work with Steve at AT&T. She brought her friend, Nadine, & joined us for brunch and a little sight seeing.

|
|
Our next visitor was Louise's dog, Duffer! He came for an extended trip to Sublette Ranch Doggie Dude Ranch while Louise went to Florida to watch the Space Shuttle launch.
He loved learning how to be a country dog - especially barking at the cow visitors - the 5 Black Ladies!

|
In October, Barb's sister came back for canning and the
Applefest in Cedaredge. We were so glad she brought Barb's parents - Jean & Walt - with her.
It was Dad's 1st visit to Sublette Ranch!

Our last visitors of 2002 were Barb's brother, Chip, and his friend Dan.
Also, Sean and Laurie came back. They all came over for the Island Lake Fish-On 12/28/02.
