While Steve & Barb vacationed in Texas, Louise & Alison (Barb's sister & niece) came over to take care of the 14 chickens, 1 dog, 1 cat, 4 cows, 2 ATVs,
1 pond and 5 acres at Sublette Ranch!

While Alison zoomed around on the ATV, chased chickens and checked on cows...
... Louise started roto-tilling the new garden area west of our pond.

Alison is a talented artist. She is working on a painting of this view overlooking Ridgway.
We can't wait to see it!

|
Mid-week, Louise & Alison drove up to Grand Junction to pick up Alison's friend, Matt, who took the Greyhound from Denver.
|
|
|
They visited this winery in Palisade before heading back to the ranch.
|
|
|
|
|
Beyond the field of dandelions above, you can see the jeep trail coming down from Black Bear Pass east of Telluride.
The photo below shows the road zig-zagging to the left of Bridal Veil Falls.
