One of the most successful events of the Idaho International Folk Dance Festival is the opportunity given to the youth of the valley to meet with the dancers in an educational forum.

|
Young people between the ages of 6-16 are allowed to obtain free tickets to go to up to 35 different sections of dance class. The dance teams explain about their country, their costumes, and then involve them in leaming steps to a dance. Classes are restricted to 40 per session to make sure the dancers and the patrons get the ultimate experience in this popular cultural exchange.
