Island Park has over 600 miles of groomed snowmobile trails. You can rent snowmobiles or take guided tours throughout this winter wonderland.
These snowmobile trails give access to Mtns. rising more than 8,000 feet. Follow the trail to Two Top Mt. for great hill climbing and powder bowls.

Cross-country skiing is also very popular in Island Park along with snowmobiling, snow shoeing, Ice fishing and more.
Island Park has over 40 miles of groomed trails on the Targhee Forest & in Harriman State Park.
In less than a half hour, you can be on the Rendezvous Trail System in West Yellowstone, Montana.
West Yellowstone is the training ground for world class skiers & biathletes.

There are two ski areas on the Targhee National Forest. Kelly Canyon is a small area, while Grand Targhee, a larger ski resort Cradled in the western slope of the Teton Mountains,
Grand Targhee has two mountains for you to explore, over 2,000 acres of lift served terrain on our legendary Wyoming snow (averaging 500 inches plus a year!)
and provides spectacular views of the well-known Teton Mountain Range from the top of the ski hill.
