Camp Wingmann Has So Much To Offer
Welcome to the website for Camp Wingmann. Thanks for visiting!
Camp Wingmann is the site for the wonderful Summer Church Camp program for the Episcopal Diocese of Central Florida, the center for Diocesan youth activities and a beautiful year round youth retreat center for all types of groups.
The Camp is located on forty two picturesque acres, wrapping around serene Trout Lake. The buildings are mostly rustic cypress nestled among statuesque live oaks.

Louttit Lodge is a very unique building designed by a student of Frank Lloyd Wright and as the largest building in the Camp, it features a commercial kitchen, a meeting/dining wing, and three dorm wings with a total capacity of sixty-eight people. Bed linens, pillows, and bath towels are not provided and are the responsibility of the camper.

Camp Wingmann is becoming famous for our delicious home-cooked meals. We cater to special dietary needs including vegetarians and take pride in always serving seconds so no one leaves hungry. Our head cook, Joanie, is known for her good cooking and you will find our prices hard to beat!

The Camp also has four cabins accommodating up to twenty-two campers each plus a duplex unit and a cottage. Also available is a gym and multipurpose lakefront building.

The historic mess hall is a large, open space lending itself to a multitude of uses. Its towering ceiling beams and walls are covered with history in the form of signatures of campers dating back almost 70 years. It presently has no kitchen facilities.

As you enter All Angels' Chapel, you see a beautiful cypress paneled building where the presence of the Lord is truly felt. It is the center of spiritual life at Camp Wingmann and can hold up to one hundred and fifty worshipers.

There are many outdoor recreation opportunities for your group here. Sports activities include volleyball, basketball, softball, soccer, ping-pong, tennis, horse shoes, archery, and frisbee golf. We also have a state health department certified swimming area in beautiful Trout Lake. It is a clean, clear spring fed lake with a sandy bottom. Our canoes and kayaks are very popular as is fishing.
A ropes challenge course is available with eight low elements and five high elements, including a climbing wall and a zip line. For an additional fee, your group can test themselves individually and build espirit de corps under the leadership of our skilled certified facilitators.
