From the time when we first came to Aquidneck Island Christian Academy both the administration and the faculty poured their time, skills, and love into our children. Aquidneck Island Christian Academy truly lives up to its two pronged mission distinctives: a classical and Christian education. In the Classical model of education, the student-child is taught "with the grain" of the way they naturally learn. We witnessed firsthand how committed the teachers at AICA were to this principle as they served our family by taking personal time during their lunch to tutor our son and minister to his individual needs. Along with the focused attention on our children's academic lives, AICA looked to educate "the whole person" and came beside us as parents to mold the character of our children as well. Whether it was through their sincere and diligent prayers, where you know that you and your family are loved, or through the office sit down meetings with the headmaster, it was evident that Christ and His kingdom were central to the motivations of this school. Whenever we get a chance to get back up to that part of the country, we attempt to swing through and touch base with AICA because of the bond created by the Bailey's and all the other faculty. From what we as a family experienced and witnessed, the faculty of Aquidneck Island Christian Academy truly modeled the love of Christ in their sacrificial service and their sincere and personal care for each and every student. This is beyond a doubt a fine education for both the heart and mind of your children.
