Some of the past and present activities include: founding of the Wild Wings Educational Facility, a not for profit organization, using flighted birds of prey to teach conservation in schools. Current projects include Penny Power and Win-By-One.

HOMETOWN WINNERS

Buckmans HOMETOWN WINNERS is a promotion in conjunction with local hometown sports teams.

These teams include
Rochester Red Wings Baseball
Rochester Americans Hockey
Rochester Knighthawks Lacrosse

When anyone of these teams wins at home, fans can redeem that games ticket stub at any Buckmans Car Wash location by closing the next day for a $2.99 car wash.

Buckmans and the Community
Buckmans Car Wash has been continually involved in helping people and making a difference in the community.

Many local schools, churches, and amateur sports teams have used Buckmans fundraising programs to raise money for their organizations.

United Way
Buckmans Car Wash is a strong supporter of the United Way program.
Our last car wash fundraiser for the United Way raised over $5,000!!!

Penny Power
The "Penny Power" project started in 1997, was originally targeted to raise one million pennies.

The principle is simple, Buckmans Car Wash is asking customers to contribute their car wash change (pennies, plus) to the "Penny Power" fund project. The customer's donation is supplemented with corporate sponsorship from HSBC Bank, and Buckmans Car Wash.

So far, we have donated nearly $70,000.00to these charities. You can help by dropping off your pennies or change at any location.

St. Joseph's Villa, Hope Hall School, and Lakeside Children's Center, are all nonprofit agencies that provide educational and supportive services for children, youth, and families in the Western New York area. These agencies serve more than 1000 children and families annually.
