Dear Students,
I just wanted to send you all a quick thank you for your efforts in our chamber orchestra two weeks ago. Despite the pending rain, blustery wind, and other distractions, you played so well. I know the audience had a great evening. For me, the thrill of leading an orchestra is not so much the music, but instead it is all about the teamwork required of each individual. You truly did a wonderful job and I thank you. I was proud to be a part of that endeavor.
As a staff, at the end of camp we always find ourselves talking about how great the kids were. I really don’t think we could find a finer group of kids than we had this year. I don’t think I have ever laughed as hard during skit night as I did two weeks ago. You were awesome. Also, your ability to go with the flow and be positive in each situation really makes the camp a success.
Just a heads up about next year – There are some exciting changes coming to Mountains & Strings. As soon as we iron out the details, we will let you know, so keep checking the website and blog throughout the year.
