Hello Brothers and Sisters.  The wage arbitration hearing between Local 640 and NECA concluded on Wednesday, July 15.  Both parties made their arguments, introduced exhibits, and cross-examined witnesses in a two-day hearing that began on Monday, July 13.  As of the writing of this article, the two attorneys for the parties are in the process of submitting their final briefs verbally to the court reporter.  It will take some time for the court reporter to transcribe the briefs and get them submitted to the arbitrator for his final consideration.  Arbitrator, Richard Bloch, is aware that both sides would like a decision as soon as possible.  We hope to have a final answer by the first or second week of August
