What happens to those not born again?
Answer: Those who decide not to accept the spiritual victories of Jesus Christ, and his lordship, die without spiritual benefit. Just like any other creature, they simply return to dust. This is fair. Nothing given! Nothing gained! That is fair!
What happens to those who are born again after they die the physical death?
Answer: They "sleep in Christ" as the Bible calls it until Christ returns to gather them up. I Thessalonians 4: 13 – 18 "But I would not have you to be ignorant, brethren, concerning them which are asleeep, that ye sorrow not, even as others which have no hope.
For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so them also which sleep in Jesus will God bring with him.
For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent (precede) them which are asleep.
For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first:
Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.
Wherefore comfort one another with these words."
Who’s responsibility is it to get people born again?
Answer: God gave the responsibility to us. Responsibility is a part of this life. God made life to be this way.
I Corinthians 5:20 tells us, "Now then, we are ambassadors for Christ" We are the ones responsible to do the work of Christ at this time while he is away. That is why we have been given the ministry of reconciliation and the words of reconciliation so we can know what to say.
II Corinthians 5:18-19 And all things are of God, who hath reconciled us to himself by Jesus Christ, and hath given to us the ministry of reconciliation: To wit, that God was in Christ, reconciling the world unto himself, not imputing their trespasses unto them: and hath committed unto us the word of reconciliation.
How about poor children from third world countries? Why is it right that others get born again and not them?
Answer: The truth about physical life is this. When sperm and egg come together, fertilization occurs whether it is animal or human species. This is simply a fact of physical life and often times, for no spiritual reason. Human birth can be no more holy than birth of a cat or dog. Some treat this physical event with spiritual priority and that is carnal. Physical birth is a physical event. When physical priorities become spiritual priorities, that is wrong. Then spiritual becomes carnal - not a good place to be! This does not imply that we are to think little of others. We are to love with the greatest love but keep the spiritual in right perspective.
The Bible provides answers to life so we can think and live spiritually and not place excessive, undue emphasis on physical priorities lest we find ourselves "warring after the flesh."
These are answers to questions regarding "How to be born again".
