How to function spiritually

The answers come from having a spiritual relationship with God and performing His spiritual functions. These functions are what enhance relationship. What enhances spiritual relationship with God are the same fundamentals we use daily to improve human relationships.

This include such functions as praise to God for His goodness, two way spiritual communication with Him for gathering spiritual answers, and answers to operating spiritual power and ability. All of these enhance relationship with Him.

All of these answers to spiritual functions are spiritual.

I Corinthians chapters 12 - 14 are God's spiritual instructions to all New Testament believers to be spiritual.

The message is centered around instruction in these.

Chapter 12:7 But the manifestation of the Spirit is given to every man to profit withal. For to one is given by the spirit the word of wisdom: to another the word of knowledge by the same spirit; To another faith by the same Spirit; to another the gits fo healing by the same Spirit; To another the working of miracles: to another prophecy; to another discerning of spirits; to another divers kinds of tongues; to another the interpretation of tongues; But all these worketh that one and the selfsame Spirit, dividing to every man severally as he (each man) will.

This message continues with a powerful parallel that all can understand. This message shows how these spiritual functions are one in purpose just like the body is one in purpose.

Verse 14 "For the body is not one member, buy many. If the foot shall say, Because I am not the hand, I am not of the body; is it therefore not of the body?"

The message goes into greater depth but you get the message!

Spiritual answers are just like physical answers. They are used to enhance relationship. The functions of the spiritual are also good. God is light and in Him is no darkness at all. Therefore, our spiritual functions must fall in line with every function and every purpose that is good.

All spiritual people who have operated spiritual power, have operated one or all of these. They are God's spiritual power in all of its completeness. Nothing more can be said than these for us to operate by spiritual function.
