How To Know What Is Truth
Truth is perfect words for shaping life the right way with right results. Truth always works. Error doesn’t. Truth is about living life’s greatest opportunities, the way life was meant to be.
How do we come to know truth? It doesn’t come the common religious way.
The following are words that Jesus Christ spoke to the religious leaders of his day.
"Ye do err not knowing the scriptures, nor the power of God." - Matt. 22:29
These leaders could not know truth or the power of God because they were filled with preconceived ideas. Was it truth they knew? Not if Jesus Christ was right. That is why he said what he said.
The problem the religious leaders had was that they were already committed to their own religious views rather than adhering to the truth of God in the Bible. And because they were, they could not have the objectivity or honesty to know truth.
Commonly today, Christians think nothing of using newly written Bibles and religions of men that have departed from Biblical truth about life.
Wouldn’t the words of Jesus Christ be just as potent today when he said to the religious leaders, “Ye do err not knowing the scriptures nor the power of God”?
Bible truth, not religion, opinions, or spiritual guesswork, is the answer.
When Christian people know how to read the Bible, they can have truth in it’s splendor, perfection, and power. The original King James Bible is a good place to start.
