Living In The Name Of Jesus Christ

This message is so simple that one would think that nobody would miss it. It is also so important that one would think that everyone would know it. It may also surprise you that most people have never heard it. And with that, most people have never been able to apply it until now!

Isn’t it true that quality of life is dependent simply upon what we put in the mind? Many parents apparently don’t think about this when they allow their children to put very twisted violence in their minds by way of very nasty video games and TV programming. Are parents really that foolish that they have never figured out that their children will become what they put in their minds?

The opposite of every evil is Jesus Christ who is all good. Every detailed quality you could want for your life, Jesus Christ is! So how do we live in him and all that he is? We live in him by acknowledging in our conscious mind who he is and what he means to us so we can think about all he has done for us. This way, we can live much more. This is how we can become all the good that we think about.

Ephesians 5:21 reads,

"Giving thanks always for all things unto God and the Father in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ."

Can you imagine how quality our lives can be when we spend most of time reflecting on the good things to be thankful for rather than dwelling on negative things to complain about?

This simple truth alone could change a whole world of negativity and defeat. Defeat comes from failing to think the best and know the best that we can have and how to have it.

Philippians 2:10 also reads,

"That at the name of Jesus every knee shall bow, of things in heaven, and things in the earth, and things under the earth;"

When Jesus Christ comes back and starts for us a new life, no person or thing will have any power over him. He is coming back as Lord of all and there is coming a time when all will see it and no one will curse him or say anything bad to him or about him because all knees will bow to him.

What is the key to living for such a wonderful and powerful Lord? What is the key to living in the name of Jesus Christ? The key is using the name in all we do and thanking God in the name of Jesus Christ for every victory we want and all we can have and be in this life. As we pray in the name of Jesus Christ, everything can be better from our trips to the grocery store to the food we eat to every detailed way we live our lives. Pray for as many things as you can think to pray about and claim victory for everything …in the name of Jesus Christ.

It comes from giving thanks unto God in all things in the name of Jesus Christ. As we reflect upon him, we will live His standards and live in his name and all that name represents which includes every victory he won for us. This is an excellent mind-set when we reflect continually upon the victory that we have in him.

It sure beats all of the junk that people put in their minds each day to think about and become wouldn’t you agree? The key to living in the name is to pray in the name in all that we do so the name heightens our awareness to practice victory in everything!
