Established in 1698, St. Peter's Episcopal Church located in Perth Amboy, NJ celebrated its first service, and the first religious service in Perth Amboy, in 1685. Honored on April 29, 2006 with the NJ Historic Preservation Award.

Our ministries at St. Peter's include: Stewardship, Social Concerns, Christian Education, Building & Grounds, Cemetery, Shared House, Prayer Shawl Ministry and Hispanic Ministry. The "Saints" of St. Peter's step up to the plate to sustain the continuity of spiritual worship at St. Peter's.

Rev. Kathleen DeJohn, known to most as Deacon Kathie, is a life long member of St. Peter's and was baptized here on February 18, 1951. After her formation and ordination she was called to St. Peter's to serve as their Deacon on November 1, 1998.
