Bella has lost her way and needs help getting home. One distinguishing feature is that she has a brown nose. If you see this dog please call Shannon or Brent at 868-5286 or Kathy @ 351-0514. The last sighting was on 10/24/09 near Anchorage Baptist Temple but could be anywhere by now.

I am looking for a good home for my dog Cotton. She is a 3 year old, spayed perhaps husky or american eskimo. I can take her food or treat right out of her mouth with no problem. She loves to run. If she can get out the front door she will be gone up the road and may run after the neighbor mowing his lawn, barking at him. She tries to pull people by their pant leg or shoe laces. Her intent is to play and run but it can't be a bit intimidating for folks.Her strong points are her sweet nature and high energy level. Burton is a gorgeous nine year old spayed Rottweiler mix (with husky we think). She is a really sweet girl who needs a home without little kids around. We adopted her eight years ago but as she is getting older and since we lost her companion to old age she is not very patient with our kids. She is fantastic in the house, loves to be with her (adult) people and would do best with another dog who loves to play. She has the softest ears ever and is content to sit for hours while you pet them so she isn't hyper or overactive. She knows her basic commands, knows how to heel on leash, does not require crating in the house (won't even touch food left on the coffee table), and needs a securely fenced yard but is not a digger. She requires Canine k/d dog food, is microchipped and current on all vaccines. BTW she was named Burton by her first owners - teenaged boys who were into snowboarding. Nikita (Niki) is a 5 year old Siberian husky who was diagnosed with gloucomia at age 3. The vets where unable to maintain her discomfortable so we had her eyes removed. She gets along fine, as she doesn't know she is not suppose to be blind. She has been in the cabin with us and our labs but we have woodstove heat and it is just to hot for her. She loves to settle in on our recliners but still likes to go on walks too. She is not to fond of brushing but loves lovin's.We would like them to find good homes and are willing to do a trial basis to make sure they find the perfect homes. This is Satchmo. He is a 2 year old Black lab. He is a very active lab who loves to run and play ball. He is looking for a family that will have tons of time to spend with him. He is a special dog who requires Eagle Pack Herring and Potato dog food and medicine for his touchy stomach. I have a child with special needs and life has just put too much on my plate. Dawson is 2 years 7 months, weighs a healthy 70 pounds, and is current on all vaccinations. He is neutered and microchipped as well. Dawson likes: playing ball, tug of war, squeeky toys, is good with all other dogs he's been around and loves to look out the window. He is very high energy and enjoys going on runs with me. This is Chloe. She is an adorable red bone hound and lab mix. Being just a little over a year old, she is over-flowing with fun and love. She has had all of her shots, is microchipped, and spayed. She knows how to sit, stay, speak, lay down, and shake. Very smart and just does not get the attention that she deserves being with us. Sherpa is a 3 year old Newfie/Lab mix and weighs 67lbs. She is very well behaved in the house and is completely potty and kennel trained. She is extremely tolerant of children, I have a 1 year old and a 3 and a half year old which she lets crawl all over her with no fuss at all. She really needs a fenced in back yard as she is a bit of a free spirit and loves to run. Would do well in an active family that can give her lots of exercise. Call Melissa at 947-9957

Fluffy is a Chow that was found as a stray. After having no luck at finding his owners we are trying to find him a loving home. He is 38lbs, very cute and loves to play with balls and be petted. Rusty is a neutered male, about 5 years old. He is possible husky and hound, and needs a family with a fenced in yard and with out small children and pets. He is great with older children and larger dogs, but plays too rough with the little ones. Also he would not do too good with small birds or other furry woodland creatures. He is a bit protective of his family but does great on walks. He needs more time and attention than we can give him, and that is the only reason we are giving him up. Jacoby is a black lab mix. His birthday is 31 Oct 2007. He LOVES people, other dogs, and is very friendly. He gets along well with children, and other pets. Jacoby is very energetic and loves walks, runs and car rides. He knows all basic commands, is house-trained and neutered. All shots are up to date, along with records. This a very sweet hound dog who needs a new home or foster home ASAP! She is a young female. Very sweet dog! She has been raised with kids. She wants to be a part of a family and not chained out anymore. She breaks off of her runner or digs out of the fence and goes on the chase, barking for days. Gunner is a Rhodesian ridgeback mixed breed. great temperament. Skeeter is a husky shepard mixed breed also with amazing temperament. They are both great with children and other dogs, not so keen on cats, both neutered 4 year old males, also have a paid lifetime microchip,current on vaccines and on preventatives.Each comes with their XL kennels that they are used to being in. They don't have to be adopted together but they have been with each other since I have had them as pups.
