Found 2/26 near mile 83 Parks Highway: female miniature daschound. She is old, 13+ I think, cinnamon merle, no collar, smelled like spicy men's cologne. If anyone regognizes this dog, please call me! She belongs at home, not here where I don't even know her name. Call Nancy Crowden at 495-3866. |

Found in early December: Young declawed female, probably unspayed and about 2 years old. She suffered frostbite and starvation to the point of losing about 1/3 of her muscle mass, but is recovering well in loving foster care. Call 841-0502. |

This little guy arrived on our doorstep on Jan. 3 and didn't want to leave. (We live on Hallie Drive, about 10 miles down Knik Goose Bay Road). He is only about 10lbs and very friendly. We'll keep him warm and fed but we're hoping he can find his way home. Please call 357-2291.

This kitty, who appears to be a neutered male, came up to our house on Bonanza Street in Palmer, bone skinny but in good health otherwise. He's very friendly and not at all concerned about our other cats, and is obviously a housepet. email frostbyte@ak.net |

Found 11/20 near Nye Ford in Wasilla:Older black lab mix male, peppered with white from age and has some heat spots on his elbow and a possible tumor on his chest. He was wearing a red collar. I was told to take him to Houston Animal Control. Call Stephanie at 841-9170. |

Found Black Cat with pretty Yellow eyes Chugiak/eagle river area. She was at the fire Station off Old Glen hwy. She has a collar but no tags. Very friendly, obviously someone’s loved pet.She is short haired and pure black. She is small but I think that is because she was starved when I found her. We found this beautiful sweet female husky mix, she is approx. 6-8 months old. We would love to find her a home where someone can take time with her and love her (no chains please). She is good with other dogs, is very affectionate, well mannered, house trained, great on leash, current on vacc and has been spayed. Found this guy round May 18 in Wasilla near Whispering Woods, just behind Sears. He looks like a rott/lab mix. Very friendly, intact and young - just under a year. He snores when he sleeps. The shelter did not find a microchip. Call 350-9855, leave message if no answer. |

Young male lab mix, about 8 or 9 months old. He was found 10/10 wearing a faded black collar then rescued from the MatSu shelter. Loves to play with other dogs, has a healthy respect for cats, and plays like a puppy. House-trained and good on a leash. Call 841-0502. |

FOUND 9/19 off Spruce between Lucille and Wasilla Fishook: This cute little guy appeared on my front door step, cold and wet and wanting inside!!
