Cattle drive in San Juan National Forest
Lake in the pasture, San Juan National Forest!
Come ride with us. 600 cow calf pairs will arrive at base camp a few days before we arrive. Our job is to drive the cattle up the mountain to summer pastures, check fences, pack salt and other ranch tasks.

While working we will explore the wilderness of the San Juan National Forest, help you improve your horsemanship and cattle handling skills, and learn first hand about ranching in a National Forest. Enjoy wildlife and breath-taking scenery and views.
bring your own horse. We recommend that you and your horse are comfortable riding several miles a day. Your horse should be shod. Rims recommended. No sliders.
