BioSok® Bilge Cleaner
The PRP® in one BioSok® can keep a bilge free of oil, odor and fumes-so only clean water is pumped overboard. For most vessels, only a single BioSok® is required for each season. In addition, boat owners with a BioSok® in the bilge are in compliance with stringent EPA regulations enforced by the Coast Guard.

Measuring three inches in diameter, each BioSok® is 9 1/2 inches long and weighs 8 ounces. When it comes in contact with oil, it immediately absorbs up to one pound of contaminant. It degrades much more oil over time and can last an entire boating season. When the oil and the PRP® have been degraded, the empty sock can be thrown in the trash. That's why the Coast Guard used BioSoks® in some of its vessels.

Each BioSok bilge cleaning system comes individually packed. If kept in its container,it can be stored for long periods of time, remaining fresh and ready for use when needed.

The compund inside every BioSok (PRP®) is bio degradable and will not affect adversely the enviroment. The principle behind BIO-SOK is that of biodegradability whereby the oils and grase found in bilges are destroyed by using other oils (beeswax). These oils are added into with micro organisms which feed on beeswax and bilge refuse transforming them into recycled material during digestion.
