Vessels can be disabled, stranded or even wrecked because a rope trails over the side and tangles in the propeller. Our cutters will easily cut not just rope but plastic bags, seaweed and nets. The secret of its success lies in the use of serrated teeth. Opposing blades converge, creating a series of diamond shaped cutting zones which divide the rope into separate bundles. As the cutting progresses the diamond shapes become smaller resulting in sliding and cutting action, much like bolt cutters. |
