Bingen, WA, April 2, 2008 - The City of Bingen signed their
contract April 2, 2008 and officially became a BIAS Accounting Client.
Bingen is located in the heart of the Columbia
River Gorge, only 60 miles east of Portland,
Oregon. In 1892, the town was
named after Bingen-on-the-Rhine,
Germany by
Theodor Suksdorf.
Bingen thrives in the 21st century with
a new Fire Hall dedicated in 2003 and their downtown revitalization project
completed in Summer 2004. Bingen is the Washington
center for windsurfing, skiing, snowmobiling, kayaking, hiking, horseback trail
riding, mountain biking, and fishing and hunting in the spectacular Columbia
River Gorge Scenic Area.
