2000 Mission Team Results
El Salvador - January 22-30, 2000

Our Team consisted of 28 members with eleven members from Kirby Woods Baptist Church.

Total Professions of Faith - Over 750 with 40 restorations.

TWO (2) MEDICAL TEAMS at two different locations each day - a team of doctors, nurses and pharmacists assisted by several support persons. TEAMS TREATED AND FILLED PRESCRIPTIONS FOR OVER 1,600 PATIENTS.

MEDICINE was provided to over 2,000 PERSONS.

EYE GLASSES were provided to over 80 ADULTS.

The medicine provided by the team was given out FREE OF CHARGE. ITS RETAIL VALUE WAS APPRAISED AT OVER $100,000.
BIBLE SCHOOLS FOR THE CHILDREN were held at each clinic, ministering to over 400 CHILDREN.

THE CLOWN MINISTRY AND PERSONAL EVANGELISM TEAMS were used of the Lord to bring scores to Christ.

OVER 5,000 GOSPEL TRACTS were given out and over 500 BIBLES AND NEW TESTAMENTS were presented to those accepting Christ.

AREA AND CHURCH CRUSADES were conducted in SIX (6) DIFFERENT CHURCHES AND A CITY-WIDE CRUSADE IN THE CITY OF ATIQUIZIA.
A CONSTRUCTION TEAM BUILT WALLS, POURED FLOORS, INSTALLED 2 COMPLETE RESTROOMS IN TWO FLOORS OF A CHURCH AND IN ONE, INSTALLED A SHOWER. ALL THE SUPPLIES, concrete, blocks and fixtures, were BOUGHT AND GIVEN BY THE TEAM.

TEAM MEMBERS CONDUCTED ASSEMBLIES IN TWO DIFFERENT SHCOOLS.

THE TEAM DID AN HOUR-LONG PROGRAM ON A NEW TELEVISION STATION in the city of CHALCHUAPA.

As a Bonus to the team, a few hours were taken out of the schedule to visit one of the volcanoes and souvenir shop.

This picture is outside of the Sahara Hotel in the city of Santa Ana, El Salvador.

This is part of the mission group departing from the hotel on the first day to travel to a rural area to conduct a medical mission, evangelistic outreach and Bible Schools.

Here water is being transported on the side of the road by oxen, while another truck is transporting part of the team to bring the "Water of Life!"

The team is in the hotel lobby preparing to leave for the crusade services that were held in three churches along with a city-wide crusade in the city of Atiquizia.

Part of the crowd at one clinic and at this particular clinic at Saliterro Baptist Church--more people were outside than inside waiting for medicine--but many found and heard the wonderful message of the Great Physician who can heal the both the body and the soul.
