The story is based on the life of a young lady named Karen Wallace, however many HIV/AIDS infected persons would be able to relate to part, if not all of the story. Through her own personal experience and suffering, you visit the misconceptions of HIV/AIDS as well as factual and statistical information. We will use courtroom antics, song and dance to grab and maintain the interest of the audience. We will undress the stigmas, the prejudices, and the stereotypes associated with the disease. It is our hope that this play will opens people conscious and unconscious mindsets towards people with the disease as well as the role they can play in not contracting the disease.
