I STARTED ON MAY 6, 2002 AT 256. TODAY, AUGUST 10, 2002 I'M 206..ATKINS IS THE MAIN KEY...NOW I'M TRYING TO ELIMINATE THE EXTRA FOOD THAT I FORCE MYSELF TO EAT, JUST BECAUSE I CAN...2 MONTHS AGO I JOINED A GYM AND WENT DOWN 1 SIZE WITH MINIMAL WEIGHT LOSS...MAKE IT FUN AND DON'T GIVE UP!!!!!

Congratulations and continued success. **Did you eat low fat or just any proteins without worrying about the fat content?

I did not worry about fat vs low fat...the only thing that I stayed away from "overdoing" were deli meats ..a piece of salami or two here and there are not a problem, but the deli meats like pastrami, corned beef, ham and bologna were not eaten at all...tongue has 0 carbs too but I just don't eat it...Chopped meat, steak, turkey, roast beef, veal, lamb, salmon, tuna...all 0 carbs so that was what I ate, and I felt full because of the fat content..that's what satisfies you..that's why tuna with mayo and egg salad with mayo were allowed and fulfilling too.....
