I like the idea of that, who wants to be close to another hunter after all but with how the blocks are on post and the reduced acreage this may make it more difficult to comply with. Most of the land is so thick that it's hard or impossible to see/shoot 100m and usually a whole different group of deer than the other spot.

I don’t think this would be necessary if we fixed the problem of abandoned stands and people having more than 3 stands.

If we all are given 3 stickers/tags for our stands there wouldn’t be an issue. Any stand without a sticker is considered abandoned.

Agreed shouldn’t be necessary.

If we find an unmarked stand period we ourselves should be able to remove it immediately without permission from anyone.

All you have to do is learn to hunt . Instead of trying to take over someone’s stand that they/ we have been in for years. We as members should not have to worry about someone deaming my stand not exceptable and removing it.

If unmarked stands are found, it should be reported to the Board of Directors with location/details. This will allow a proper investigation and a proper stand removal if the need is still there. No club member should remove stands themselves.

I think the idea of them being considered abandoned or open/club stands until they're claimed and marked with 1 of your 3 markers. That way no property is damaged or taken but also incentivises members to mark them correctly and not over populating the area with more stands. Post it or remove it if you don't want to risk it being general use. Also, learn to hunt? It's a li.ited land issue not a piggy backing issue. If a new hunter finds the same spot as an experienced one then I guess they're not so bad then are they?
