BYH Class of 1938? Helen Trunkey. ~ ~ ~ ~ HER OBITUARY: Helen Richie passed away Sunday, July 6, 2014 in Virginia Beach, Virginia. She was born to James K. and Vera Bushman Trunkey on February 24, 1920 in Twisp Washington. The family moved to Lehi, Utah and then to Provo where Helen graduated from BY High. She was an attentive older sister and practically raised her brother Dale when twin baby sisters, Fern and Faye came along. Helen married Alfred Billings and they had two sons, Jerry and Paul. She later moved to Ohio and had a successful career at National Cash Register. She met and married her second husband, Jim Richie in Ohio where they lived until his death. She then moved to Virginia and was lovingly cared for by her daughter-in-law, Susan Billings. Helen was known for her quick wit and her keen sense of humor. She was an expert seamstress and quilter, creating many intricate quilted wall hangings. She loved sports and became an avid golfer with her husband Jim. She especially enjoyed the experience she had volunteering at the 1985 International Special Olympics Winter Games in Utah. Helen was preceded in death by her parents, her brother Dale, and her sons Jerry and Paul. She is survived by her sisters Fern Vernon (Leo-deceased) and Faye Conder (Phil- deceased), her daughter-in-law Susan Billings and many wonderful grandchildren and great- grandchildren. A graveside service will be held at the Lehi City Cemetery on Monday, July 14 at 2:00 pm. [Provo Daily Herald, Friday, July 11, 2014]

Arvadell Weeter Ward of Orem passed away on Tuesday, February 22, 2005. She was born in Provo, Utah on August 18, 1920 to Howard Tyrone Weeter and Flora Ferguson. She married Keith Whitney Ward in the Salt Lake LDS Temple on September 26, 1939. Arvadell was a graduate from B. Y. High School. Arvadell was a great homemaker and mother. She loved serving in many callings within the church, especially within the Primary serving in ward and stake Primary Presidencies. Arvadell loved her family, neighbors, and friends and spent her life serving them. She is survived by her children: Cheri (Bill) Nielson of Randolph, Utah; Larry (Mary) Ward of Heber, Utah; Kent (Peggy) Ward of Prescott, Arizona; Ranae (Tim) Montano of Orem, Utah; Flora Ann (Neil) Stagg of Tooele, Utah; Cozette (Gerhard) Ackermann of Salt Lake City, Utah; and Burke (Linda) Ward of South Weber, Utah. She is also survived by 45 Grandchildren, 90 Great-Grandchildren, and 6 Step-Grandchildren. Services were held on Friday, February 25, 2005 in Orem, Utah. Interment, Provo City Cemetery. Class of 1938. Norma Williams. Milford, Utah: Norma Mildred Williams was born on March 1, 1919 in Mills, Juab County, Utah. Her parents were John Williams and Maude Lorena Quarnberg. She married Wilmer LaMar Aagard in October of 1935 in Nephi, Utah. She died on November 16, 1995. Her interment, Vine Bluff Cemetery, Nephi, Utah. ~ ~ HER HUSBAND'S OBITUARY: Wilmer LaMar "Bill" Aagard, 84, passed away July 1, 1998 in Tillamook, Oregon. He was born on October 16, 1913 in LaVan, Utah to Neils J. and Anna Laura Memmott Aagard. He married Norma Mildred Williams on October 1, 1935 in Nephi, Utah and their marriage was later sealed in the St. George LDS Temple on March 13, 1954 and she preceded him in death on November 17, 1995. Bill worked for the Union Pacific Railroad for over 34 years and retired in 1975. He loved the outdoors, especially hunting, fishing, and camping with his family. He enjoyed the company of his grandchildren very much. He is survived by his children, Norman R. and Janice Aagard, of St. George; Wilma and Ed Myers, of Tillamook, Oregon; Jonniel and Ronald Myers, of Delta, Utah; and Brent C. and Kris Aagard, of Bountiful; 12 grandchildren and 25 great- grandchildren; one sister, Gloria and Robert Salmon, of Tempe, Arizona. Funeral service were held on Monday, July 6, 1998 at the graveside in the Nephi Cemetery, Utah. [Deseret News, Saturday, July 4, 1998.]

Class of 1938 ~ Honorary. Rudolph H. Wolfgramm attended BYH in 1936-1937, then Lincoln High School from 1937-1938. Rudolph Herbert Wolfgramm was born on July 29, 1918 in Neiafu, Vavau, Tonga Islands. His parents are Fredrick Gustav Ludwig Wolfgramm and Martha Emelie Sanft Wolfgramm. Rudolph Wolfgramm died on June 10, 1974 in Salt Lake City, Utah. Interment, Salt Lake City. ~ ~ ~ ~ Wolfgramm's fascinating story. ~ ~ ~ ~ HIS BROTHER'S OBITUARY: Ferdinand Fredrick Vuna Wolfgramm, 78, died June 10, 1992 in Salt Lake City, Utah. Born in Neiafu, Vava'U, Tonga to Fredrick Gustav Ludwig Wolfgramm and Martha Emilie Sanft. Married Bertha Veronica Schulke Feb. 8, 1939 in Neiafu, Vava'u Tonga; later solemnized in the Salt Lake LDS Temple June 23, 1952. Resident of New Zealand, 1945 - 1952. Emigrated to the US in 1952. Owner of Western States Cast Stone Company. High Priest of the Westbrook 3rd Ward. High Priest group leader of the Chula Vista 2nd Ward. A loving husband and father. Survived by his wife Bertha Veronica; son, Howard F. and wife Jennifer Wolfgramm; seven grandchildren, Rachelle, Tamara, Ryan, Tai, Tara, Jared and Troy; sisters, Elsie C. Elkington, and Olga E. Schaumkel. Preceded in death by a brother, Rudolph Wolfgramm. Funeral services were held Saturday, June 13, 1992, 1 p.m. at the Westbrook 3rd Ward, 6500 South 3600 West, West Jordan.
