Guy H. Hurst died on August 23, 1969 in Ogden, Utah.

University, Book 9, page 7. ~ ~ ~ ~ Vernee Herbert Iverson was born on February 1, 1895 in Salem, Utah. His parents were Andrew Iverson and Julia M. Olsen Iverson, both of Norway. Vernee married Vennes Davidson on May 12, 1926 in Salt Lake City, Utah, and they ran a farm in Salem, Utah. Vennes was born on May 5, 1901 in Fairview, Utah. Her parents were Amasa Davidson and Ane Elizabeth Hansen Davidson. Vennes Davidson Iverson died on March 21, 1993. Vernee H. Iverson died on June 9, 1947 at home in Salem, Utah. His interment, Salem, Utah. ~ ~ ~ ~ HIS WIFE'S OBITUARY: Vennes Mercil Davidson Iverson, 91, passed away March 21, 1993 at Highland Care Center, Salt Lake City, Utah. Born May 5, 1901 in Fairview, Sanpete County, Utah, to Amasa and Annie Elizabeth Hansen Davidson, she was the last survivor in a family of ten children. Married Vernee Herbert Iverson, May 12, 1926 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. He died June 9, 1947. Vennes was active in the LDS Church serving as a visiting teacher and doing temple work and genealogy for many years. Vennes was a tireless worker for her family, loved to garden, and especially loved her flowers. She is survived by sons and spouses: Amasa and Shirley Iverson, West Jordan; Andrew and Marie Iverson, Salt Lake City; Lois Iverson & Curtis Griebel, Sandy; 13 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by son, Vern Floyd Iverson and daughter, Vennes Vee Iverson Jones, granddaughter, Sally Ann Clays and great grandson, Bradley Jones. Funeral services were held Thursday, March 25th 1993 at Deseret Mortuary, 36 East 700 So., Salt Lake City. Her interment, Salem City Cemetery. Her parents were Julius [Julius Jensen at time of marriage on July 12, 1888 in Manti, Utah] Christensen and Christine Hermina Thuesen [Jensen or Christensen]. Freda Joan Jensen married Harold Bingham Lee on June 17, 1963 in Salt Lake City, Utah. Harold B. Lee was born on March 28, 1899 in Clifton, Idaho. His parents were Samuel Marion Lee and Louisa Emeline Bingham. He married twice: First, to Fern Lucinda Tanner on November 14, 1923 in Salt Lake City, Utah. He second married Freda Joan Jensen. Harold B. Lee, President of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, died on December 26, 1973, in Salt Lake City, Utah. Freda Joan Jensen Lee died on July 1, 1981 in Salt Lake City, Utah. She had worked as a teacher most of her life. Her interment, Salt Lake City Cemetery, Utah. ~ ~ ~ ~ HER OBITUARY: Freda Joan Jensen Lee, widow of President Harold B. Lee, died 1 July 1981 at her home in Salt Lake City. She would have celebrated her 84th birthday on July 2. Born in 1897 in Provo, Utah, Sister Lee attended Brigham Young High School, where she graduated in 1916. She received degrees in education and music from Brigham Young University, and did graduate work at the University of California at Berkeley, at Columbia University, and at the University of Utah. She taught school in Provo and Draper before being appointed supervisor of primary education for Jordan School District. On June 17, 1963 she married Elder Harold B. Lee, then a member of the Quorum of the Twelve. She was President Lee’s second wife, his first wife, Fern Tanner Lee, having died in 1962. Sister Lee was active in educational and civic organizations and held many positions in the Church, including member of the Primary General Board, the YWMIA General Board, the General Church Music Committee, and various stake Sunday School boards. She was honored as Woman of the Year in 1971 by the Associated Women Students of Ricks College and in 1972 by the Utah Woman’s Review. In 1979 she received the Distinguished Service Award from the BYU Alumni Association. [News of the Church, September 1981]

He lived for a time in the District of Columbia. Rex was a World War I Veteran. Rex married Edith Jones on May 12, 1921 in Salt Lake City, Utah. A. Rex Johnson died on February 10, 1970 in Las Vegas, Nevada. His interment, Provo City Cemetery, Utah.
