He married Hattie Maria Thornton on May 10, 1899 in St. George, Utah. He died on October 16, 1947 in Provo, Utah. Interment, Provo, Utah. ~ ~ ~ ~ Hattie Maria Thornton was born December 2, 1875 in Pinto, Utah. Her parents were Amos Griswold Thornton and Mary Whittaker. She died on November 10, 1963 in Salt Lake City, Utah. Her interment, Provo, Utah.

Academy, Book 2, page 93. ~ ~ ~ ~ Alice Hazel Stallings Evans, 106, of Lehi, died January 20, 1992, at Larsens' Nursing Home, of causes incident to age. Born November 25, 1885, in Coalville, Utah to Joseph Heber and Sarah Elizebeth Wilde Stallings. Married Robert James Evans August 21, 1907, Salt Lake LDS Temple; he died September 5, 1967. Graduated from Brigham Young Academy in Nursing and Education [in the Brigham Young High School Class of 1905]. She then attended Cornell University. Served in YWMIA as president and teacher, Relief Society teacher and visiting teacher. Worked as a stenographer and scribe for Pres. John A. Widstoe, at Utah State University. Survived by sons and daughter, Robert John Evans, Ogden; Paul William Evans, Salt Lake City; Mrs. Dean W. (Hazel Joy) Criddle, Pleasant Hill, Calif.; 13 grandchildren; 61 great-grandchildren; six great-great-grandchildren. She was preceeded in death by three children, Helen, Ray and Joseph. Funeral services were held Friday, January 24, 1992, in Lehi, Utah. Interment, Logan City Cemetery. [Deseret News, Wednesday, January 22, 1992]

Her parents were Hyrum Stewart and Cynthia Artena Hyde Stewart. She married Wilkie Hooper Blood on June 12, 1907 in Salt Lake City, Utah. She died on August 15, 1973 in Salt Lake City, Utah.

Elizabeth Thatcher McDonald died on July 19, 1940 in Heber City, Utah. Her interment, Heber City, Utah.
