His parents were Jesse Noah Rowley and Lucy Alvina (Viney) Norton Rowley. He married Rosilla Allen on August 10, 1926 in Mesa, Arizona, and they had five children, more or less. After his death, his wife married Jacob Hamblin Tenney. Edwin Jesse Rowley died on February 28, 1935 in Phoenix, Arizona.

Milton H. Sevy died on December 8, 1917 in Cedar City, Utah, from complications following an automobile accident. He was 28 years old, and single. He was listed as a "sheep grower" on his death certificate, and his residence was in Salt Lake City. His interment, Salt Lake City, Utah.

He married twice: First, to Tessie Harmon, on June 7, 1917; she died on May 6, 1918 in Provo, Utah. He second married Belle Smith [full name: Marion Isabelle Sims Smith] on March 23, 1921, in Salt Lake City, Utah. Belle Sims was born on October 8, 1895 in Salt Lake City, Utah. Her parents were John Gibson Smith and Hester "Tessie" Sims Smith. She was a teacher in the BYU Training School in the 1920s. Belle and Willis were the parents of two children, Earl Smith Spafford and Mary Spafford Kemp. A life-long Utah resident, she died on February 2, 1982 at the age of 86. She became a very prominent Utah women's leader [see her profile]. Willis Earl Spafford died on January 26, 1963 in Salt Lake City, Utah. Interment, Salt Lake City, Utah. ~ ~ ~ ~ Earl Spafford appears in a photograph of the BYH Commercial Class taken in 1909 -- 20 students all wearing identical outfits with a big "C" on their jerseys.
