DRAGO, MICHAEL EUGENE, 58,was welcomed into Heaven by his mother, Patricia Sue Blanton Drago Tuesday, October 2, 2007, after a short battle with brain cancer. He was a graduate of Valley High School, Class of 1967 and a member of Harvest Baptist Church. He was a retired employee of Ford Motor Company (LAP Plant), Magistrate 3rd District (Justice of the Peace) and a SCUBA instructor. Mike was a Mason (Shawnee Lodge #830, a member of the Louisville Scottish Rite Temple, Kentucky Colonel and an active member of the Grassroots Democratic Club. He leaves behind to cherish his memory his high school sweetheart, wife of 21 years and best friend, Madeline Beams Drago. He was a loving step dad to Tiffany Miles Anderson and grandfather to Gage Anderson, whom he loved deeply. Also left behind is his father, Gene Drago; brother, Tony Drago; sister, Becky Stivers; parents-in-law, Emmett and Agnes Beams; and many other close family members and friends. The family would like to thank their friends for all the support and prayers during these difficult months. Acknowledgement would also like to be given to the many dedicated angels at Hospice of Louisville for their devoted and compassionate care, as well as kindness, during Mike's illness.
